Wine Roads

The campsite is the right place also for a good wine-tasting. In 1996, the Chamber of Deputies passed a law envisaging the establishment of “wine roads“, the routes that make wine lovers familiar with local produce, discovering at the same time wonderful landscapes, ancient villages, farms, castles, and unknown artworks etc. In addition, each year at the end of May, the “Open Wineries” day takes place throughout Italy. From Blucamp you can easily reach three “wine roads”:

• • “Etruscan Coast Road“. The Etruscan Coast can boast of 4 DOC wines, DOC Montescudaio, DOC Bolgheri of which is the world famous Bolgheri Sassicaia, DOC Val di Cornia, and DOC Elba.
  • “Strada del vino Monteregio di Massa Marittima” where the DOC Monteregio di Massa Marittima is made
  • “Maremma Hills Wine Road” The DOC of that area are: DOC Morellino di Scansano, DOC Bianco di Pitigliano, DOC Capalbio, DOC Sovana, DOC Parrina, DOC Ansonica of the Argentario Coast.
