From the Blucamp campground, you can admire all the islands of the Tuscan Archipelago: Elba, Giglio, Montecristo, Capraia, and even Corsica. But if you want to visit them, here are some useful information.

From Piombino (about 20 km from the campground), there are connections to the islands of the Tuscan Archipelago (Elba, Capraia) and Sardinia. There are large paid parking lots in the port area, but you can easily reach it by bus or train (from the Campiglia-Venturina station), which takes you directly to the dock (the next stop after Piombino Station). Tariffs and schedules are available from the management. The ferry to the island of Giglio departs from Porto Santo Stefano.

From late July to late August, it’s advisable to book in advance to find a place on the ferry for cars. No problem for passengers. On Elba, there are opportunities for renting cars, motorcycles, and bicycles, as well as minibus excursions.
